Top: Gap Factory | Jeans: Gap (same) | Belt: Vintage | Loafers: Shoedazzle | Hat: Target (same) | Bag: Thrifted

I'm going to be honest with you guys, I hadn't worn pants before this day.. in like two weeks. Shorts, skirts, and dresses for the win! But, I had a big itch to wear my black skinny jeans like somethin' fierce, so I gave into my skinny jean desires.. these Gap skinnies are seriously oh-so comfy, but I thrifted them so they're a bit too long (hence, the roll up). Oh, the woes of having short little baby legs. The belt's another one I found in my mum's closet, if only she had kept more of her clothes! Oh, and Curtis told me he really liked my hat while making me coffee, I think I've got myself a keeper!

Speaking of the mumsy, she's been down here in College Station helping me pack and store all of my junk stuff so I can move out of my apartment in a couple of weeks before I go back home to get ready for the wedding. I'll be storing a bunch of it for a couple of months over the summer, so Curtis and I have space to 1. paint/get new flooring and 2. ORGANIZE. We'll be living where he currently lives, and the only reason I can't take most of my things over there now is because he has two roommates (who will be moving out soon.. fingers crossed). But, the place is kind of a mess right now, I mean, what do you expect with multiple boys living in one place for an extended period of time? So, I'm excited to redo it all this summer and make it our own little home. So many ideas are running through this brain of mine! But.. moving isn't fun, at all.

Hope y'all have a fantastic Friday. I'll be finishing up packing, and taking a big 'ol nap at some point. Oh, and if you're awesome, this look reminded you of a mime. I may or may not have pretended to be one at random points in time during the day. I'll leave you with this lovely creation of mine.. because I love you guys.

  8. Okay, so first of all, the pictures at the bottom? ADORABLE. You are so freaking cute, Kristina! Next, I loooove your outfit. I would love another pair of black skinny jeans. I'm too cheap to buy full price pants (or anything, really) at Gap (I knowwww) but I'll see if I can find a thrifted pair some time, like you've done! I agree with you that moving is crappy. I hope you and Curtis are able to make his current place your home! When I first got married, I moved in with Kevin, and it never REALLY felt like "our" place, since it was his first. Our second apartment was one I felt super comfortable in, because we moved in together. Don't get me wrong, our first place was still great, but it was fun to move all of our stuff together :) Good luck with packing and everything! We've moved every year for several years in a row, and this is the first year we're staying in one place, and I'm SO EXCITED TO NOT HAVE TO PACK!!!! :) :) :)

    1. Yeah, I definitely have to either thrift or buy Gap jeans (or anything..) when they're having a bit sale. My mom has a Gap card she just uses as a regular credit card, and gives me the coupons and Gap reward money whenever she racks up enough points for it. I've got $20 + a 40% off coupon for all purchases right now, but since I'm trying to hold off buying anything until after the wedding and the coupon and reward money don't expire until August.. I'm just gonna hold off.

I've moved every year that I've been in college, so I'm quite tired of it as well. But, Curtis has lived in this duplex for almost six years, and it's kind of become a bit like home to me because I'm over here for most of the day..every single day. So hopefully we'll change it enough that it looks like a completely different place, and I can call it home! :)

  11. You look great in those pants :-) I practically live in dark skinny jeans. I almost never wear skirts or dresses.
