Here's a little bit of what's going on in my life at the moment.

Arrested Development.
Goodness, this show is the funniest thing I've watched in a while. Curtis suggested we start watching it for fun since all of our shows are on break at the moment. I highly recommend it if you're into silly shows that are short and don't have to make any sense whatsoever. I'm not sure when the last time I laughed out loud at a show so much was.. Yeah, it's goofy.

Song of Ice and Fire: A Feast for Crows.
Sooo, I finished the third book in the Song of Ice and Fire series, was so distraught/intrigued that I had to start the fourth one right away. I've slowed down my pace just a bit because I got really sick last weekend, and I just started school all over again, but I plan on finishing it before school starts. These books are serious business people! haha

Healthy food.
Curtis and I started a healthy eating diet a few days ago. It's been alright, I miss cookies and dark chocolate already. Oh, and Dr. Pepper Ten. We're trying to cut sodas until his birthday in September, and as a caffeine addict, that's extremely difficult for me. I've been cooking a ton since we go married, and I've been looking up lots and lots of recipes. It's fun, but yeah, cooking everyday is kind of crazy you guys.. how do moms do it?! Anyway, I've gained a few pounds since the wedding {cookies and brownies.. I blame you}, so I'm trying to get back down to where I was.

Listening to..
Live Music.
Curtis made a live music playlist on our Spotify, and we've been jammin' out to our favorite bands live. It's so much fun!

Striving for..

A more active lifestyle.
As a girl that loves to just sit and watch TV, or sit and search the internet, it's really hard for me to get active a lot of the time. Also, the Texas heat doesn't help much during the summer.. I just don't ever want to go anywhere or do anything. But, I'm trying to workout 3-4 times a week for 40-45 minutes at a time. We'll see if I can keep it up. I'm going to start out slow and build up. The beagles are appreciative of their two mile walks though!

A thrifting trip.
I'm in serious need of a thrifting trip. Be it clothes or home goods, I don't care. Both would be fantastic. I've been so stinking busy, I haven't had time to go in forever, ever. Anyone up for some fun with Kristina? haha

  1. I love Arrested Development! I haven't seen the new season yet though, because I don't have Netflix streaming. And I've been trying to eat healthier too. After pigging out on vacation, I figured it was about time!

  2. Wish I could be your thrifting buddy! I'm always down for a thrift trip!

  3. What?!? No dark chocolate?? But don't they say it IS good for you?! :-D

  4. I just started Arrested Development too! My shows have stopped too for the most part (Dexter, Pretty Little Liars, and Switched at Birth are all on). I went through almost two seasons during a lazy week! I don't find it as hilarious as everyone else does but it's nice to have on when I feel like watching something!

    Exploring My Style

  5. Cookies are my downfall as well, and thrifting trips are ALWAYS a good idea ;)

  6. Oh I need a new short show--maybe I'll try arrested development! And need a thrifting trip!

  7. arrested development, goodness its great.
