Curtis and I went over to a little pumpkin patch about a block away from our house yesterday. I've been wanting to go to this dang pumpkin patch for a good three years now, and I was so glad to have finally gotten to go. I just never went before because I knew if I left it at my own apartment, I would hardly ever see it.. and if I left it at Curt's, it wouldn't be "mine." So, after waiting for a million years, I finally got my pumpkins! I have big plans for 'em (okay, maybe not..), but taking pictures was fun. Curtis wasn't too excited about me taking a picture of him with the pumpkin, but I actually love how it turned out. OH! and that gourd, its AWESOME, right? It looked like a dragon when we first saw it, so I had to get a picture. We left with one medium sized pumpkin, a small one, and two tiny ones, which I'll share with you guys once I figure out what I'm gonna do to them. Does anyone have any cool ideas they've run across?

Ah I love a good pumpkin patch! I'm going to carve pumpkins with my dad this weekend. I'm pretty excited about it because he is AMAZING at carving pumpkins. I hope you come up with some great ideas!

ReplyDeletefall pumpkins are my favorite...i ALWAYS went on hay rides to pick pumpkins when I was little :) I am hoping to go this year with all my college friends and pretend to be little again ;)

Actually, I took 'em with my 50mm f/1.4 lens. That thing is a boss! I use it constantly.
DeleteI haven't done hayrides since I was little, little! It'd be really fun though :)
ahhh I WANT THAT LENS! sadly i wont ever be able to afford it :(
DeleteThat sounds like so much fun! Two years ago, the boy and I went to a huge pumpkin patch and corn maze and took a bunch of pictures with the weird pumpkins. Maybe I should make that my Halloween post..
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how you carve them!

Beautiful pictures! I love pumpkin patches so much! Unfortunately I've never gone with my husband to pick out pumpkins :( I don't know why... it just never happens. Maybe this year! You've inspired me!
