Our Wedding, Part IV: The Ceremony

Our ceremony was absolutely without a doubt the most special part of the day. Even though there was over a hundred and fifty people watching on, I truly felt like Curtis and I were the only two people in the whole world. Curt and I chose not to see each other before the ceremony, I wasn't completely against doing a first look, but.. I felt like Curtis wanted to keep it traditional, so I respected that. I have to say though, seeing his face when I was walking down is something I will never ever forget. My cousin, Michael, drove me around the side of the house in his '69 Camaro, that thing is seriously kick butt!

One of the weirdest aspects of your own wedding is the fact that you really don't see a lot of it if you're the bride. I was sitting and waiting for it all to start, becoming more and more nervous by the minute! I can't wait to see the video to see everyone walking in and looking super happy.

It's been so fun looking back through all of these, and I can't help but feel those butterflies I felt when walking down the aisle every time I look! :)

  3. :) Beautiful wedding photos! That is a good point you made about when you are the bride you really don't see a lot of it; so it's neat that you get to look at those moments on film, and re-live the day. Awesome!

I love your location, and I'm happy to hear that the ceremony was the best part of the day for you (in my opinion, that's what it should be all about!!). I still love your dress and your bouquet. Prettiest bride ever! :)
