October According to Instagram

  • Why not start off the month with some donuts? Curt and I have a bit of a morning ritual about twice a month (because if we did it more, we'd be 400 lbs) where we head on over to Shipley's Donuts at 6AM.
  • Pumpkin patch fun! We had lots of fun picking out this season's pumpkins, you can check out the post here.
  • The beags are always a big part of my life, but one week they got me a hundred on my photography assignment.
  • Photography has been a HUGE part of October for me, I started up my own business, but first, a photography exam. I'm happy to say I made a 98.
  • My beautiful best friend, Denise and I went on a fun photography session.
  • It's finally gotten a little cooler here in Texas, which obviously means breakin' out the boots and plaid.
  • More Aggie football, of course.
  • Got to take photos of this gorgeous little girly for her 2nd birthday!
  • Like I said earlier, photography and my business has been a big, big part of October for me, so I decided to document myself creating a business plan of all things!
  • I've been taking Curtis to work in the mornings, he's got a gig as a substitute teacher at a local Christian school. It's so funny, all the kiddos call me Mrs. Ross when I drop him off. You guys, that is soooo weird, ha.
  • For Halloween day, I wore my new favorite orange dress and a black cardi. Apparently others decided it'd be good to wear their actual costumes to school.. yeah, sorry, I'm not that festive {or outgoing}.
  • AND, Curt and I's Halloween costumes -- Sims robbers. Twas a great October.

September according to Instagram

September was good to me. It wasn't too stressful, it was jam-packed with fun stuff, and I made a bit of a revelation along the way. Here are some of my favorite instagram memories from this past month!
  • Pumpkin spice lattes. Need I say more?
  • My silly beagle boy love just sitting and watching me get ready, its pretty funny. He also will wait right outside the bathroom for you to get done showering. Not inside though, you might surprise him with a bath, which isn't cool man.
  • I finally ordered the shoes I had waited so, so long for (5ish months). They've already made it to a couple of posts, too!
  • I've labeled myself a sky watcher. I love looking at the sky, and here, its been especially beautiful lately.
  • The "game of the century" -- otherwise known as the Alabama vs. A&M game took place this past month. Curtis and I got up super early to go pull tickets. Even though.. we ended up just going to Chic-fil-a and eating breakfast instead of standing in line for 5 hours. But, I got the tickets eventually!
  • Curt's birthday was this month! I almost got that silly cat balloon for him, but it was like $12, so I had to pass.
  • Midnight Yell for the Alabama game was cray.
  • We got up early to go check out ESPN College Gameday. It was fun, and got us pumped up for the game.
  • I was walking around trying to find a towel to wave during the game, and then Johnny Football came out of the locker room! I was like, "omgosh, omgosh, omgosh!" And then proceeded to take a bunch of pictures with my iPhone like a little school girl.
  • Curt and I FINALLY got to go see Mumford & Sons in concert! Our show got cancelled in early June, so we had to wait three long months to see 'em.
  • Mumford & Sons was seriously awesome live. I had so much fun, and wish I could just do that everyday..
  • There's always lots of Muggle-y pictures taken for instagram.. best model ever.
  • I've been missing volleyball a lot lately (always happens in the fall), and also my best friends who made volleyball the best thing about HS.
  • I bought plants you guys! I'm so excited about them.. and really hope they don't die on me.
  • More Muggles, sorry I'm not sorry. But hey, the bed is made?
How was your September? I'm super stoked for my second favorite month of the year and all it has in store for me. You can follow me on instagram, @kristina_ross14

August according to Instagram

Hi. Hello. Aloha. Bonjour. Hallo. Howdy.

I'm truly sorry I haven't been blogging.. part of me wants to, and then sleep typically takes over or I just don't even think about it at all. It's been one crazy month, but I'll give you the short version right now... then actually posts about all this later. I miss you guys. Thanks, Danielle for commenting and saying you missed me, it truly meant the world to me and just so you know.. I miss you, too!

Kay, let's explain the pictures above.
  • After I finished my second session of summer school at the beginning of August, there was a lot of laziness in the Ross household. Exhibit A, Muggles the laziest beagle of them all.
  • Like I mentioned in my last post (from three weeks ago..ouch), I took a trip to Dallas with my parents for a bit of back-to-school shopping. It was lots of fun, and a much needed break from College Station!
  • Curt and I visited the George Bush (the first one) Presidential Library on a whim. I've never been and seeing as I pass it to go to school most days, I thought that was pretty sad for having lived here for three years and never taking the time to visit. It was extremely interesting and I really enjoyed getting to know the history of the Bush family!
  • My favorite edition to my closet has to be my new elephant shirt, which I wore when we went to the Bush Library!
  • Curtis and I took a long weekend to Galveston with his parents. It was lots of fun! We swam in the ocean, ate lots of delicious seafood, took a ghost tour, and had a nice relaxing break for our mini-break from school.
  • I chopped off about 7 inches of my hair, and I'm loving it! Although.. it does get greasier faster. Super annoying. Could be the constant 100* weather too though.
  • I had a period where I walked the beagles on campus every evening for a few days. I love walking past Kyle Field.. and am super-de-duper excited for football season! Gig 'em!
  • School started last Monday.. luckily, I only have it four days a week! :)
  • Like I mentioned above, I'm super excited for football season (I can rant and rant forever about it), so Curtis thought it'd be fun to go to a radio show for dinner. Our head coach was there talking, we had awesome food, but there were awkwardly loud drunk people too.. not so fun.
  • I'm taking a digital photography class this semester, and I could not be more excited. I've just finished my first assignment, woot.
  • Saturday we played our first football game. It wasn't pretty on the defensive side. It definitely didn't have a lack of controversy around it. But, I loved every second of it.. even if I thought I might pass out from the heat at certain points. Oh, and I love Johnny Football, ESPN can shove it.
  • Curtis and Muggles doin' some homework.
Have a great week lovelies! You can follow me on Instagram @kristina_ross14.

July According to Instagram

  • Since I had a final the day after the 4th of July, we celebrated a little bit of a late Fourth with family. Swimming, yummy grilled chicken, and relaxation made for one good day.
  • I finally started putting more things up on the walls around the house. One of my projects was to put some fun stuff on all of our chalkboards from the wedding. Mumford & Sons ftw!
  • I've been learning notes and chords on my ukulele this month after Curtis threatened to start learning it himself.
  • Did some thrifting with my momma and dad over a weekend. It was great to spend some downtime with them!
  • I've been crazy busy with summer school this month, hence all the late nights in the library. But, I've only got a week and a half left, yippee!
  • Luckily, Curtis has been suffering through summer school with me.. :)
  • Curt and I have gone on a few dates this month, one being to a local frozen yogurt shop, yuuuum.
  • I got to photograph these two lovebirds when they got engaged, so fun! You can see more here.
  • One of my best friends, Megan, turned 21 this month, and I went up to Waco to celebrate and do a little painting. I'm pretty proud of what I accomplished, ha!
  • I've really enjoyed being on main campus this summer.. normally I'm on "west campus," and can I just say, I kind of despise it. So boring with all of its modern buildings. Give me some real architecture!
  • Like I told y'all the other day, Curtis and I went to east Texas.. seriously, I'm in love with those pine trees!
  • Sunsets in the woods are the best. I wish we could've stayed in Conroe longer.
If you don't already follow me on Instagram, you an follow me @kristina_ross14. Hope July's treated everyone well. I really can't believe we're already half way through 2013.
