I was laughing at Skywalker.. |
This is another one of those outfits I've had in my head for the entire 30x30, and I finally decided to go for it today, seeing as I only have seven more days. I've had this skirt since high school, but I've never even worn it before; I've got a few items in my closet that are like that, but somehow they manage to maintain their position in my closet after each purge. It was always too short to wear to school while I was in high school, and for some reason I thought I could only wear it during the spring and summer.. Why? I have no idea, obviously I had never heard of tights before.. just kidding. Oh, just so all of you know, I've traded my black booties in for my sandals, I should've just done this in the first place, but I finally just made the decision this morning. It's not really cheating since I haven't even worn my sandals, so whatevs.
My hair absolutely wouldn't cooperate this morning, so I decided to give a tutorial I found the other day a try, you can find it here. Abby's got so many awesome tutorials that I want to try out! Hope y'all have an awesome Tuesday, I'm gonna get some studying done, and..catch up on some more of my ever growing list of TV shows, maybe one day I'll let you all in on my favorites?

This outfit is perfect. Oh my goodness, that skirt!! With the sweater! And the boots! ahhh, I love it. so much! And your hair looks SO GOOD. mine is too short (wahh) to do anything fun like that but I am slowly but surely growing it so maybe a year from now I'll be able to try this hairstyle too ;)
ReplyDeleteI have never ever watched Downtown Abbey, but I've heard so many great things about it! I will definitely give it a watch over spring break, though, and see what all the fuss is about!

I chopped my hair off right before I got to college, it's slowly made it's way back.. I'll probably end up cutting it again right after I'm married, ha. It was just too crazy this morning though, girl.
DeleteOh and yes, watch it.. it'll suck you in. Every time.
This is different, super cute. I love how put together it is. You are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOmg, check out my post today, I'm totally in your boat now ;-)

I keep meaning to watch that show but...I forget to. Isn't that strange? But people seem to really like it so I want to try it!
ReplyDeleteThat purple/white combo is beautiful on you. I want a purple sweater just to recreate it. for serious
Thanks Franziska..I totally just commented on your post, came back to my home page and was like, oh heyyy girl heyy! ;)
DeleteBut really, you should watch it! It's one of my absolute favorites! And thank you, I'm really diggin' the purple and white too.
I'm not usually drawn to purples and blues, but I love this look -- and, those shoes! Ugh, can we just share shoes all the time?
ReplyDeleteI kinda petered out with Downtown -- I didn't make it through the second season! Should I start it again? I accidentally read some spoilers and I'm not sure I can handle the end of the 3rd season...

Haha, I'd definitely agree to share shoes all the time. They're my weakness!
DeleteI hadn't read any of the spoilers, but from what Curtis told me, there's more than one surprise in the third season, so if you wanted to, I'd definitely recommend watching it again :)
Love this, so easy yet so cute!! Perfect for these boring winter days.
