Our Wedding, Part VI: Curtis + Kristina

You guys ready for some love in pictures? I thought so.

My one and only regret for my wedding photos is definitely not taking pictures with Curt with his jacket off. The suspenders were my favorite! Oh well, it's just one of those things that gets lost in the blur that is your wedding day. If you were wondering why on earth most of our pictures are us sitting/laying down.. I think both Curtis and I felt this rush of emotions, from all the years we had been waiting for this moment, and we literally just threw ourselves on the ground! Anyway, I hope you all have enjoyed looking at all of these photos from my wedding as much as I've enjoyed sharing them with everyone. It was a special, special day, one that I relive over and over all the time! I married a keeper, that's for sure.

Thankful

Today, I'm thankful for a husband that lets me practice my photography skills on him. Seriously, he got dressed for this, stayed patient with me while I proceeded to freak out about finding a place to take pictures (Plan A was cancelled by rain, Plan B by a random festival of Mexicans -- no seriously, not to mention the tons of random people out taking pictures), and he made a pretty cute model, too. I loves you, boo.

Our Wedding, Part IV: The Ceremony

IMG_8097IMG_8098IMG_9239IMG_9243IMG_9248IMG_9249IMG_9250IMG_9253IMG_9254IMG_8103IMG_8107IMG_9265IMG_9256IMG_9273IMG_8137IMG_9302IMG_9304IMG_9310-2IMG_9335IMG_8184IMG_9338IMG_9339IMG_9343IMG_8203IMG_8205IMG_9352IMG_9359IMG_9361

Our ceremony was absolutely without a doubt the most special part of the day. Even though there was over a hundred and fifty people watching on, I truly felt like Curtis and I were the only two people in the whole world. Curt and I chose not to see each other before the ceremony, I wasn't completely against doing a first look, but.. I felt like Curtis wanted to keep it traditional, so I respected that. I have to say though, seeing his face when I was walking down is something I will never ever forget. My cousin, Michael, drove me around the side of the house in his '69 Camaro, that thing is seriously kick butt!

One of the weirdest aspects of your own wedding is the fact that you really don't see a lot of it if you're the bride. I was sitting and waiting for it all to start, becoming more and more nervous by the minute! I can't wait to see the video to see everyone walking in and looking super happy.

It's been so fun looking back through all of these, and I can't help but feel those butterflies I felt when walking down the aisle every time I look! :)

One More Month

In lieu of getting married in exactly one month (yep, just one), I thought I'd share with y'all some of my favorite engagement photos we took this past November. The engagement has literally flown by, and I can't believe it's already been 9 months! But, I'm so ready to marry my best friend, you have no idea. It's been really rough these past few weeks, with all of the bridal showers, special events, and school on top of it all.. so I'm taking a moment to slow down and just relish in the fact that we're almost there. Seven years later, we're almost there. So here you guys go!

I sure do love that boy, and cannot wait until he's my husband.

Hope y'all have a great day, mine hasn't started out well. I found out last night that a small town literally 15 minutes from my parents' house had a major fertilizer plant explosion, and the last report I've seen said there were 5-15 fatalities and over 170 injured and in the hospital. Homes and businesses were leveled from the explosion, as well. So if you could all keep the town of West, Texas in your prayers.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Ephesians 6:18

PS. I linked up with Bri's Work Clothes, I Suppose using this outfit from a couple of weeks ago. Just wanted to let y'all know about the fun link up she has! It's spring florals this time around.
